I actually don't know what to post. I'm kind of speechless (or "writeless"?) for now, but I wanted to post something. I hope this picture is some type of encouragement to you. It truly is amazing how encouraging children can be (even just a simple picture). They can teach us so many things about faith and life....

Anyway, use this section to blog! Questions, comments and encouragements please! Focus us towards the throne of grace. Posted by Picasa

Grace Grace Grace...You now how amazing Grace really is? No, me either. I wish I could comprehend it. We take it all for granted. Even after going through a tuff trial, after it's over, or you think, you take the grace for granted! It stinks.

God could of just of given common grace to the world. Meaning: Let us live, take care of us and the die! Is that what he did?

No! He offered a special grace to some, few...To the Christians. The grace of true life. The life of trying to be more like him. The life to it's fullest, depending fully on grace! I wish I knew how graceful God is, but I can't even begin to comprehend it even if I think I can. I can't!

All we can do as christians is sit in amazement of what God is doing/ He gives us grace! Ambassador(The Rapper/theologian)says, "We born, we Suffer, we Die, but theirs a loophole, theirs a loophole."

Isn't that so true. We should be born, we should suffer, and then die. But God offered us(christians) special grace so we wouldn't have to. The grace of Christ! Oh, How amazing it is, and how little we understand it!

But ya, I love you all!

That's to bad. Was it written in greek? Wasn't it written a couple hundred years later? So, you are saying someone wrote a story and we should call it inspirired by God? Something that would make the Bible Fallable? I don't think so. If God would of wanted it in the Bible it would of been in the Bible. If the gospel of judas is correct then you are saying Jesus made someone sin which is totally not biblical...good try though.:)

well it could be historically correct, and could the church missed some books that were onspired, like what about hebrews, it has no author. But we believe that it is inspired. one of the canon "measurements" was the author, so why do we say that hebrews is inspired eveb thiough it has no author.

hey,
how do we know that the devil is a boy not a girl?? or do we not know exacly?

just a thought

Brittany,

The Devil is in the spiritual realm. It is not a sex. It's an angel that is now evil. The devil I would assume can appear in the physical realm(our world) as a human, male or female, just like the angels can. But the writters in the Bible always used 'He', 'His', or just 'Man' and it all refers to Man meaning whole human race. I hope this make sense...Have a nice day

GUESS WHAT PT2'S favorite word is???

AgapeTheologian said...

Anonymous,

The fact is pretty simple. I had a hard time with this too, so I can relate. If Gospel of Judas is correct, the Bible couldn't be trust worthy. The Bible would be fallable. It contridicts
'The Gospel.'
Jesus who is perfecto wouldn't make someone else sin because then He would be sinning. So, the Gospel of Judas is incorrect. The Gospel of Judas was written in the 2nd-3rd centuries, that is not when the other Gospels were written.

If God is faithful, which He is, we don't have to worry about about the canon. God saved people. He preserved the copies of the books in the Bible and that is what he wants. Jesus preserved books which He inspired through authors. Gospel of Judas wasn't preserved, it came into being or rather found not to long ago. Books wouldn't just keep popping in and out. Our Holy Bible is as much as we need right now. God is perfect and won't let anything stop that!

God is Faithful

Hebrews

We have to trust God wouldn't allow any false gospels into the Bible. God is faithful.(1 Corithians 10:13) First thing you have to look at is Hebrews making the Bible fallible(in correct or controversity with the rest of the Bible)? Hebrews does quote from other scripture which gives us another reason that Hebrews in correct and is actually scripture. It is actually God's words...anyways, I hope this helps. I suggest reading, Case for Christ.
