My weekend

Well, this weekend was pretty good for me. Saturday was a great day. Isaiah and I went to the Humane Society so we could see the kitties and puppies. I think he enjoyed the time there. By the time we got back home, he was sleepy; so, I put him down for his nap. After he awoke from his slumber, we all (Tracy included) ate lunch and went to "Ghostown Mall" (aka - the holland mall). Isaiah played in the kid's play area. We all then went to Wal-Mart (for some rigorous purse-space heater-and-other-miscellaneous-item shopping). Then I bought some delicious dinner for all of us!!! I really splurged - Little Caesar's $5 pizza all the way - we also got breadsticks too. Then we went home and enjoyed the rest of the evening.

Then Sunday rolled around. It always comes so quickly, doesn't it?! I thought Sunday School went really well. I know the survey we did was VERY lengthy, but even the teaching time was good - a little talkative, but good (a lot more interactive)! I think I prefer having Sunday School after the Worship Service. Most everybody seems more alive (It's not fun talking to dead people :).

One final comment about Sunday - YAY Calvary Schools choirs - good job! AND, did you realize that while I was on praise team, I started the song early? I had no idea....

Well, hope you all had a great weekend too.

I like the schedule better now too, which surprised me because I thought it would be more hectic. It's easier to pay attention during the service since we're not all zonked out from SS and having the break time imbetween gets some of the socialization out. Although, as I think you noticed yesterday, we all get a bit more talkative when SS rolls around..

Good luck next week with your message, btw!

I'll be praying for you =)

PS. for anyone who's wondering; btw = by the way ^.^

I found it interesting to read about our weekend from Timothy's perspective. We actually went to the mall on Friday, and only to Wal-Mart (and little ceaser's) on Saturday. Isaiah was up EARLY on Saturday, so while he and daddy went to the humane society, I got to sleep! YEA, sleep!

Love you, honey!

NO WAY, I'm not buying a dog or cat or any animal. POSSIBLY ONLY A FISH - and if so, it better not be high maintenance....

I just went to the humane society so Isaiah could see some animals.

LOL PT, i sure want a dog again but then again i don't have to pay the maintenance bill.

So anyways, What songs are we singing for Praise Team? Can Bennett play this sunday?

And how did you get a small picture by your profile? That is what I want in my blog? And can you give every one in youth group everyone's email/Blog site. It would help up keep in touch or if we need to contact a person for some strange reason. Make sence?

Bethany, why did you say good luck with PT2's message? Are you preaching in 'Big' Church, twice like PM?(Pastor Mark) Or just because he needs all the prayer he can get?

ANyways, i better go, i'll talk to you all later...

Justin obviously wants a dog. I would like one too for that matter; however, I wouldn't be able to take care of it given my life circumstances now....

well, I think if you want a dog you should have a trial run with someones dog to see if you can take care of it, or maybe you and your wife can share the burden of dog care.
